Uncharted Writer Leaves Naughty Dog

After 10 years of writing for Naughty Dog, Amy Hennig has left the award winning studio.

Hennig, who was also the creative director at the Sony Owned studio, is known for penning all three of the Uncharted games, and the unreleased Uncharted title coming to PlayStation 4.

In an official statement to IGN, a Sony representative said, “Amy has made significant contributions to the game industry and we appreciate all she has done for Naughty Dog. The development timeline of Uncharted will not be impacted.”

IGN notes that “sources claim Hennig was “forced out” by The Last of Us’ Neil Druckmann and Bruce Straley.” This, however, is unconfirmed.
