‘Dark Souls II’ PC Release Date Announced, New Prologue Trailer

Namco Bandai Games has announced the release date for the PC and Steam versions of Dark Souls II, which will launch in Europe and Australasia on April 25. Alongside the announcement a new trailer has also been released for Dark Souls II, featuring a horrifying look at the Dark Souls universe.

Dark Souls II for PC will feature increased texture resolution and an enhanced frame rate option, alongside full mouse and keyboard support. FromSoftware has been working hard to perfect the mouse and keyboard support for players looking to experience Dark Souls II on their PC.

Pre-ordering Dark Souls II on Steam will give fans bonus content, which includes a digital soundtrack from the game and early access to the Black Armour Weapon Set, alongside the Official Dark Souls II Artbook in PDF format and The Complete Dark Souls II Digital Comic Book.

We’re conscious of the high expectations from PC gamers and are working with FromSoftware in ensuring that the PC version of Dark Souls II offers the best experience possible. said Mathieu PIAU, EMEA Marketing Director at Namco Bandai Games Europe.

“After an amazing first opus, Dark Souls II promises an even more engaging, richer and challenging adventure that should please all gamers, regardless of their platform of choice.”
