Bruce Lee Announced As Playable Character In ‘EA Sports UFC’

Electronic Arts has announced that Bruce Lee will be available for those who pre-order EA Sports UFC on day-one, or players will be able to unlock the character if they defeat career mode at Pro difficulty. Players can fight with Bruce Lee over four weight classes, creating all-star battles with the best UFC fighters in the business.

“I am so excited about this opportunity to bring my father back to videogames.” said Shannon Lee, daughter of Bruce Lee “I’m thrilled that fans can now interact with him in a new way.”

“There’s no debate, Bruce Lee is the father of mixed martial arts,” said Dana White, UFC President. “He believed not one style of fighting was the best and that you had to have a little piece of everything to be a complete fighter. He was proven right when the first UFC event took place in 1993.”

EA Sports UFC will release in June 19 in Australia and June 20 in New Zealand, for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
