Yoshi Announced For ‘Super Smash Bros.’ Wii U, 3DS

Super Smash Bros. Director, Masahiro Sakurai, has announced Yoshi will be returning for Super Smash Bros. Wii U and 3DS.

The announcement was made during the Super Smash Bros. themed Nintendo Direct live stream earlier today. Yoshi is the 27th playable character to be announced for the upcoming Nintendo fighter, and has been a regular in the series since the Nintendo 64 era of the series.

The release window for both the 3DS and Wii U versions of Super Smash Bros. was also announced, confirming both titles will release in summer and winter this year, respectively.
