Activision has announced it will officially announce the latest Call of Duty game this Sunday, May 4th.
Sledgehammer games will be developing this year’s Call of Duty which has been in production for the better half of three years. GameInformer today also revealed the second, but first full image from the game which depicts three soldiers all dressed in high-tech equipment unlike any seen in conventional warfare. The soldier in the centre of the screen also looks to be modelled on British actor Idris Elba.
The gear these soldiers are wearing here looks a lot like ex0skelenton technology, a concept which while firmly based in science fiction, is under experimentation by the United States, Japan and other countries. The idea is that a wearer’s strength and endurance are boosted by these mechanical suits they wear around themselves.
A website has also emerged which counts down to Sunday and also displays a picture of the Call of Duty logo with the caption “A new era begins.”
