A new entry in the Forza franchise has been announced! Forza Horizon 2 is set to release on both the Xbox 360 and Xbox One later this year. The title is being handled by separate developers for each platform, with Playground Games developing for the Xbox One while Sumo Digital is tasked with the Xbox 360 version. The former will utilize the engine from Forza 5 while the latter will use the original Forza Horizon’s engine to develop the sequel.
Similar to the first Horizon title, the sequel will center heavily around music and a festival, although this time the game will be located in Southern Europe rather than Colorado. The title will include hundreds of cars, with the true spectacle of the lineup being the 2015 Lamborghini Huracan. Curious as to what this car looks like? As usual, we have got you covered!
Forza Horizon 2 is slated for a fall release on both the Xbox One and the Xbox 360. At the present, details are scarce as to the premise of the game, but one can surmise that it may be similar to the original with your driver attempting to become the top ranked racer in the entire festival. Are you excited for the game? Let us know in the comments!
