Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and NetherRealm Studios have released a new gameplay trailer for Mortal Kombat X, showcasing both Kitana and Kung Lao, two veteran characters from the Mortal Kombat franchise that will be included in the latest installment.
The new gameplay trailer features both characters dealing some damaging brutality to some previously confirmed fighters such as Raiden and Kano. Kitana utilises her devastating fans to lift enemies up with gusts of wind before dealing brutal sharp edged slices, while Kung Lao delivers lethal martial arts with his razer sharp hat.
Two character renders were also released which give us a better look at both Kitana and Kung Lao, both characters have aged since the last installment in the franchise, since Mortal Kombat X takes place 25 years after those events.
Mortal Kombat X will release for for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC in North America and Europe on April 14, Australia April 15 and New Zealand on April 16 of next year.
