NetherRealms and Warner Bros. Interactive has released a new trailer for Mortal Kombat X, featuring the Cage family while also strengthening growing rumours of the confirmation of a handful of new fighters to the roster.
The new trailer focuses on the Cage family, which includes the previously confirmed Cassie Cage and her parents Johnny Cage and Sonya Blade, who are both now confirmed to be appearing in Mortal Kombat X. The new footage also showcases Johnny Cage’s new Fatality, which needs to be seen to be believed.
During the course of the trailer we also get a look at Kenshi next to Johnny Cage during a cut scene, while Mileena is seen fighting Cassie Cage. Both these characters are rumoured to be appearing in Mortal Kombat X, after Kenshi was shown in the Mortal Kombat X mobile trailer and Mileena’s appearance was posted on an Amazon listing earlier this week. NetherRealm Studios has not confirmed eitehr character will appear in Mortal Kombat X at this time.
Mortal Kombat X is the next installment in the Mortal Kombat fighting game franchise. It will be available for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PC on April 14 in North America and April 15 in Europe.
