‘Battlefield Hardline’s Criminals Play ‘Dead Space’

Developer Visceral Games is best known for creating the Dead Space franchise, so it’s only natural that it would include one or two references to its famous horror franchise in the upcoming Battlefield Hardline.

The following trailer and screenshots can be deemed as spoilers to some, so be aware, in case you’re holding out until the game’s release.

Are you sure about it? Okay, then. The above trailer showcases a couple of criminals kicking back and enjoying a couple of rounds of Dead Space – “The Line Gun is fantastic!” – while the screenshot below features the Dead Space Black Marker monolith in one of the multiplayer maps.

Battlefield Hardline launches on March 17 in North America, 19 in Europe and 20 in the United Kingdom, on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.
