Call of Juarez: Gunslinger Review

Yes, the Call of Juarez franchise may have been tainted with a pretty poor sequel, but Techland came back better than ever, and delivered the best entry in the series yet. Call of Juarez: Gunslinger really puts the wild into the wild west, and shows that you don’t need a full-blown sequel to right all the wrongs of your predecessor.
Square Enix to Broadcast Live at E3 Expo

Square Enix has revealed that it’ll offer a dedicated video programming during 2013′s E3 Expo, which takes place on June 11th through 13th. The program is dubbed – Square Enix Presents – and promises to offer “a diverse and user-friendly range of programming,” from the perspective Square Enix’s global audience.
Akio Oofuji, marketing director at Square Enix stated the following:
“Square Enix will be showcasing a terrific lineup of games this E3 Expo. Square Enix Presents is a new way we can engage on a more meaningful and personal level with our community and fans and share with them the spectacle and excitement of E3.”
Stay tuned for a full program schedule in the coming weeks, which will detail both the games, and personalities featured.
Don’t Expect Alan Wake 2 in the Near Future
It saddens us to report that we will not get to continue Alan’s mysterious adventure in Bright Falls any time soon, as Remedy Entertainment said that it will return to Alan Wake “when the time is right.”
The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing is Out Now
We are pleased to announce that indie developer NeocoreGames’ gothic-noir steampunk action-RPG influenced by Bram Stoker’s Dracula, The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing, has been released.
Assassin’s Creed IV, Watch Dogs, Destiny, and Thief – All Confirmed for Xbox One
Not surprisingly, Ubisoft has announced via Twitter that Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag and Watch Dogs will be coming to the Xbox One. Additionally, Bungie has confirmed via Facebook that Destiny will also make its way to Microsoft’s newest console, alongside Eidos-Montreal who confirmed Thief’s appearance.
Regarding Thief, General Manager Stephane D’Astous commented the following:
“The team at Eidos-Montreal is thrilled to confirm that Thief is coming to Xbox One. The next generation of home consoles allow us to create the best and the most immersive Thief game ever. The feedback we have received so far is simply amazing and we can’t wait to show more of Thief at E3 this year.”
