Dragon Age III Takes Note Of Skyrim
It’s impossible to make an RPG today, without looking at The Elder Scrolls first

In a Game Informer interview, via Kotaku, BioWare Edmonton and Montreal general manager Aaryn Flynn said that it would be impossible to create an RPG these days, without acknowledging, and reacting to The Elder Scrolls series, in their case, that one being Skyrim:

Dragon Age III: Inquisition is the sequel to 2011′s Dragon Age II and 2009′s Dragon Age: Origins. It was announced back in September, and last month, we reported that Dragon Age III is more than likely going to be a next-gen game.
