The Walking Dead – Season 3 Episode 16 “Welcome to the Tombs” Review
WARNING: Full Episode Spoilers Below
‘Welcome to the Tombs’ marks the Season 3 finale of The Walking Dead series, the highly anticipated showdown between Woodbury and our prison survivors has finally took place. The slow build-up for this event has been apparent over the last few weeks, with everything set-up for this climatic episode. How did the finale turn out?
We open to a scene that was teased in last week’s preview. As I had predicted, The Governor was torturing Milton who had taken it upon himself to burn all the zombies The Governor had planned to use on the Prison. Finally standing up for what he believed cost Milton dearly; after being beaten senseless he was forced to kill Andrea, but after refusing and attacking The Governor he was stabbed multiple times and left in the same room to die with the trapped Andrea. Knowing Milton would eventually turn and rip Andrea to shreds, this left Andrea to struggle to find her way out of torture chair she was tied to. This led to a few redeeming moments for Milton, wanting nothing but to save Andrea and willing to sacrifice himself to do it. Read the rest of this entry

The Walking Dead – Season 3 Episode 15 “The Sorrowful Life” Review
WARNING: Full Episode Spoilers Below
We are now officially one episode away from what will be a gripping season three finale to The Walking Dead. Episode 15, “The Sorrowful Life”, centres around Merle as he has one last ditch effort to fight his inner-demons and do the right thing.
We open on a very well directed scene with Rick informing Daryl of the Michonne plot by The Governor. It was well directed because the entire time this was happening walkers were directly behind the shot. Sure it wasn’t an influential scene by any means, but it was nice shot placement and really sent the message that no matter what happens, walkers are a part of this world. Michael Rooker did a great job in his small scene with Rick, the first time the two have really interacted since he came to the prison. Merle’s character has been portrayed well throughout his time on the show and it is all thanks to Rooker’s ability to channel a dark, sadistic attitude when delivering lines for the character. The Walking Dead – Season 3 Episode 14 “Prey” Review
WARNING: Full Episode Spoilers Below
We continue on our road to the Walking Dead Season 3 finale. This week episode 14, “Prey”, introduces some more interesting plot devices for the final two episodes. It also provided one of the most genuinely scary scenes the show has provided, a vibe that felt like a silver screen horror movie.
We open this episode with the introduction to the ‘torture room’, which many fans will recognise from the comic books, that was used on a certain character. We really see the Governor’s sadistic mind at play when he unloads his torture tools on the bench, really signifying the character’s evolution. Milton finds out about it and voices his disapproval, yet the Governor’s intimidation tactics hold him back from speaking his full mind. Read the rest of this entry
Andrea of Walking Dead On Screen Compared To The Comics

Andrea is a peacekeeper. She in the show takes the role of someone who is done fighting and has never taken a life other than zombies to do so now. The point of Andrea really is to show humanity and what it takes to protect it when others lose them self to the world around them compared to her more aggressive and take charge nature in the comics.
