A retail listing on Amazon Germany has leaked the existence of a Premium Edition for The Elder Scolls V: Skyrim.
The listing had the Premium Edition slated for a 7th of December release date alongside a price of 60 Euros. IGN has confirmed that the Premium Edition is in fact real and that details on it’s worldwide release and further news will be revealed in the near future.
The Skyrim Premium Edition will contain a world map, a t-shirt with the Imperial logo on the front, a CD with an incomplete soundtrack, the novel “The Infernal City” and concept art. The PC version gets the soundtrack along with a 600 page ebook with a slew of walkthrough videos and backgrounds.
Take note however, the listing does not include any DLC. All Bethesda re-releases in the last five years have all had the DLC released on the disc. Fallout 3’s Game Of The Year Edition had all five DLC packs, New Vegas had all four and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion had all of it’s respective DLC. Could this perhaps mean that we’re getting a separate edition? Maybe. But it’s far more likely that it’s got something to do with the DLC problems on the PS3 and the absence of DLC on the PC.
More news as it develops.
