If you bought Assassin’s Creed 3, Ubisoft strongly recommends that you download a day one patch for Assassin’s Creed 3 that fixes some problems such as numerous bugs and crashes.
You can find what’s included in the patch notes, but be warned, they do contain big spoilers. There aren’t any below though.
“This day one update is designed to optimise your player experience,” said Ubisoft. The developer “highly recommends” that you download the patch to fix some of the problems. One of the bugs fixed in the game was one that caused NPCs to spawn too far away and end up being the wrong type I.E you could be attack by a Patriot at the Boston Tea Party rather than a British Redcoat.
Another bug caused players to get stuck after from cliffs, waterfalls or trying to get out of hay stacks. Some mission based problems have been ironed out such as a bug that let you drown an ally by heading in the wrong direction rather than the mission direction.
