The first DLC for Far Cry 3 has been announced.
Far Cry 3 hasn’t even been out a week but the co-op side to Far Cry is already receiving it’s first expansion. Called “High Tides”, Ubsisoft will be releasing the DLC pack exclusively for the PlayStation 3.
High Tides picks up where the co-op campaign ends in Far Cry 3. “The best of the best” is the description given by Massive Entertainment’s Meghan Watt. High Tides will bring us new missions, tougher firefights, bigger competitions and a better chance to get to know your character.
Whilst there’s still a chance we could see High Tides on PC, Xbox 360 gamers are out of luck as Sony and Ubisoft forged a partnership for exclusive Far Cry 3 content back at E3 2012.
Far Cry 3 High Tides will be released in January but currently has no pricing details.
