The upcoming game from long time Sony-only developer Insomniac has had their first ever multiplatform title, Fuse delayed by Electronic Arts.
Fuse has been pushed back to the first quarter of EA’s 2014 fiscal year which means that the release window is somewhere between the 1st of April and the 30th of June 2013. “We’ve decided to move the launch of Fuse to Q1 of fiscal 2014,” said EA CFO Blake Jorgensen. Originally scheduled for release in March, Peter Moore, COO of EA explained that with the delay, Fuse will receive some “extra work” which, as described by Moore, will pay off at the time of release.
Insomniac backed up the news with a Tweet stating that “The news is true, Fuse is now coming in Q2 (Apr-Jun). It’s not a big delay from March, and its more polish time for us to make a better game”.
