‘Deus Ex: Human Defiance’ Revealed

Yes, after some speculations and a lot of unanswered questions, Eidos Montreal has finally revealed their next project in the ‘Deus Ex’ franchise. ‘Human Defiance’ introduces a lot of new ideas, from co-op, to new augmentations, to more powerful consequences, and many more.

The official website reads:

“Introducing Deus Ex: Human Defiance, the first adventures of Adam Jensen in full, glorious 8-bit. Human Revolution brought about the cyber-Renaissance, Human Defiance marks the beginning of a Digital Golden Age. Human Revolution was all about triangles. Now we’re doubling down, flipping one over and revelling at its brand new form: the square… the pixel. It’s a natural evolution! This new format allows us to bring you the content from Deus Ex: Human Revolution that you always asked for.”

While you can read more on the game on their website, I think it would be better to actually show you the game in all its glorious action, so take a look below!

As you might have guessed until now, this is Eidos Montreal’s way of pranking gamers on this year’s April Fools’ Day. Still, would you have liked to see something like this being released for real?

    • I swear you were the first person to come in my mind when I read about the game. Nevertheless, I’m sure a new DE game is already in the works for next-gen. And LOL at “Destroy entire city?”
