A report from PCMag.com suggests that Sony is planning another big event to promote the PlayStation 4.
The source of this information as PCMag describes is “a source familiar with the company’s marketing strategy.”
The event in question will be a “full-blown launch” of the PlayStation 4 likely showing the console itself and is designed to get the hype train rolling again in favour of Sony’s newest console. According to the source, the event is Sony’s last chance at stealing the spotlight just before E3.
The event is said to take place later this month or in May.
Sony have been in the public interest with the PlayStation 4 since it was officially announced on February 20th since Microsoft is being very quiet on what it’s working on so it’s questionable as to why they would jump the gun ahead of E3. Perhaps Sony have more to show besides the console and new games?
