The team behind Professor Layton and Ni No Kuni, Level-5 has announced the studio is working on a game for the PlayStation 4.
“It’s still in the planning stages, but we are also working on a PlayStation 4 title,” explains Level-5’s Akihiro Hino to Nikkei Trendy (translation by Gematsu.) “We might be able to announce it soon.”
Whilst details on the game are scarce, Level-5 did mention it’s delving into the PS4’s social gaming features. “PlayStation 4 is next-gen hardware built with the network in mind, so more than graphics performance and specs, we need to think about communication – how to use the network features,” says Hino.
Are you excited for the next Level-5 game? The developer’s last game, Ni No Kuni was received with much acclaim and even topped the UK charts in January with the limited stock at the time seemingly flying from the shelves.
