With Microsoft having an event scheduled for May 21st to unveil the next Xbox, rumours have started to emerge about the finer details of the new console, especially its pricing. This information comes again from Microsoft analyst Paul Thurrot who also leaked the announcement date of the next Xbox.
Thurrot claims that there will be two pricing models for the new Xbox; one will be priced at $499 and is standalone whereas the other model is priced at $299 which comes with a two-year Xbox LIVE Gold commitment, with that membership expected to cost $10 a month.
Thurrot goes into how Microsoft will structure their announcements of the new console, the rest of which can be read following this link.
So what do you think if those pricing models are true? If they are, which one will you be getting?
