Harbinger Wars #3 Review

Harbinger Wars #3

Written by: Joshua Dysart and Duane Swierczynski
Art by: Clayton Henry and Pere Perez

Harbringer Wars has been shaping up to be quite the event. You just can’t deny this and in all honesty Marvel and DC could take a few pointers on how to handle events better. This issue has put all the characters in the right place and sets the story up for something big to unfold. It’s intense, and the conflict with these characters feels real, that’s a recipe for success when pulled off like this.

With so much going on it all flows together in a way that makes you cringe if not because of the insanity of it all. Personally it’s easy to find just about most of the characters likable at this point who are center-points of the story. They have shown to treat their teams well, and they don’t release fluff, pretty much straight to the point with this story so far. As H.A.R.D. Corps arrived, it really became a moment that made you gasp if not because these are still kids, the majority that is. Joshua Dysart and Duane Swierczynski have set things in motion so that whatever happens in Las Vegas when they all clash will be  something to anticipate.

Overall Harbringer Wars has managed to deliver on being an intense story where no punches are pulled with Dysart. Clayton Henry and Pere Perez together on art just blows you away. Only adds to the atmosphere of the story which already has your full attention.

Score: 8.9/10
