Nintendo eShop Update: 8/29/13 – 9/5/13

This week in Nintendo eShop, the Wii U is receiving a few new games while the 3DS discounts a certain game and more.

After a long, and literally delaying journey to bring the game to other platforms, Rayman Legends will be available to download digitally on the Wii U’s eShop beginning Sept. 3. At least gamers will be getting more content with 30 more levels in the game thanks to the delay. Since Legends was also originally going to be a Wii U exclusive, Ubisoft has also included some extra goodies for the Wii U version of the game, including Mario and Luigi costumes as well as a separate free downloadable mode. Look out for our review of Rayman Legends on the Wii U next week, but until then, check out our demo impressions.

Pokemon brawler title Pokémon Rumble U will also bash its way to the Wii U eShop while the NES classic, The Legend of Zelda, trek its way to the Wii U Virtual Console.

On the 3DS front of the eShop, Wario Land 3 arrives on the 3DS’ Virtual Console. BIT.TRIP SAGA, a compilation of all six BIT.TRIP titles, will be on sale for $4.99 starting Sept. 1 and will run through Sept. 15 at 9 a.m. PT.
