Capcom Releases ‘Mega Man’ Tribute Albums

In a partnership with Sumthing Else Music Works and OverClocked ReMix music companies, Capcom has released two albums that tribute music to the Mega Man series in honor of its 25th anniversary.

The first album, titled “MM25: Mega Man Rocks,” is being released by Sumthing Else Music Works. The album will consist of songs from Mega Man and Mega Man X. The songs are played by tribute bands with names inspired by elements from the series such as The Protomen, Bit Brigade, Mega Ran, The Megas, Arm Cannon and X-Hunters. “For Everlasting Peace: 25 Years of Mega Man” is the second album, and it’s being released by OverClocked ReMix. As OverClocked’s first commercial album, Everlasting Peace contains music from the first games of the multiple Mega Man series, including the original Mega ManMega Man X, Mega Man Legends, Mega Man Battle Network, Mega Man Zero, Mega Man ZX and Mega Man Star Force.
