Two New ‘Assassin’s Creed: Unity’ Trailers Released

Ubisoft has released two new trailers for the upcoming Assassin’s Creed: Unity in celebration of Bastille Day, which commemorates the Storming of Bastille which began the French Revolution on July 14, 1789.

The first trailer focuses on gameplay and also showcases the brutal time period of the French Revolution. We are shown throughout the trailer the large gap between the extremely rich and those suffering from poverty and displeasure, which ultimately sees the poor turning on those wealthy individuals in brutal fashion. The trailer boasts new footage of our hero, Arno, moving through buildings seamlessly, alongside the new ability to parkour down from building tops in impressively animated fashion.

While the first trailer focused on gameplay, the second trailer contains no footage from Unity itself, instead focusing on the terrible status of France during the French Revolution. The trailer outlines the main reasoning behind the momentus period in history, showcasing the drastic differences that the rich and poor dealt with on a daily basis.

Assassin’s Creed: Unity is scheduled to release October 28 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
