‘Fallout 4’ 1.4 Patch Beta Live on Steam

Hot on the heels of last week’s DLC announcement, Bethesda has released another Fallout 4 patch beta. In addition to setting up support for the upcoming DLC, patch 1.4 adds several new options to the workshop menu. Raider and Super mutant-themed clutter is now available to build, as well as a number of new wall decorations and doors.

The patch also offers a number of bug fixes, including several perk adjustments, missing NPCs, and a few display issues. To opt into the beta, right click on Fallout 4 in your library, click Properties, navigate to the “Betas” tab, and use the drop down menu to choose the beta update. Don’t worry about the box that asks for a code; you won’t need one. Bethesda states that the update itself will be out for Xbox One, Play Station 4, and PC as soon as it’s out of beta, so keep an eye out for that announcement. The full list of patch notes is here.

Also, consider this a friendly reminder not to forget that at the end of the month, the Season Pass will  go up in price, so now is as good a time as any to go ahead and get that!
