‘Gears of War 4’ Is Having A Multiplayer Beta In April

The Coalition and Microsoft have announced that Gears of War 4 is having a multiplayer beta on Xbox One in April.

The beta begins on April 18 for players who have played the Gears of War: Ultimate Edition on Xbox One or Windows 10. It will then open to all Xbox Live Gold members from April 25 before concluding on May 1.

Further, the time frame for Gears of War: Ultimate Edition players to qualify for early beta access is being extended from March 1 to April 11, so if you haven’t done so yet, log on to Xbox Live and play Gears of War: Ultimate Edition on Xbox One or Windows 10 to receive early access. Fans who have already played the Ultimate Edition will begin to receive tokens in waves.

In the post on Xbox Wire, Adam Fletcher, Director of Community for The Coalition also announced that the Gears eSports ESL Pro League Season 2 finals will be held at PAX East on Saturday, April 23. Fans not at the expo can watch on the Gears of War Twitch channel.

During the stream, a new competitive game mode for Gears of War 4 will be debuted.

Gears of War 4 Versus multiplayer will be playable at PAX East in the Xbox Booth.

Gears of War 4 was announced at E3 2015. The Gears of War: Ultimate Edition is a HD remake of Gears of War 1, it was released in August, 2015. AA love the remake, scoring it 8.5.

Last week it was revealed that Marcus Fenix’s Son is one of the protagonists in Gears of War 4.
