E3 2016: Nintendo Debuts 80 Minutes of ‘The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild’ Gameplay

During its Nintendo Treehouse Live event at E3 2016, Nintendo debuted about 80 minutes of gameplay footage from newly subtitled The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The gameplay shows various new gameplay elements such as picking up items, using food as a new way to recover hearts, exploring shrines, and various exploration mechanics.

Here’s the introduction to the game, including producer Eiji Aonuma.

The Nintendo showed off more exploration gameplay.

Finally, the puzzle solving gameplay of Shrines was shown off, including how you gain access to different abilities.

Nintendo’s YouTube Channel is gradually publishing more Legend of Zelda gameplay as I write this, so head over there for a few more videos.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will be available in 2017.
