Microsoft has its eyes set on the future, as it expects the Xbox One to last way more than ten years from its initial launch date.
Speaking at Eurogamer this afternoon, MS Executive Phil Harrison stated that – just like the Xbox 360 – the Xbox One will improve over the years, throughout and beyond the next decade.
Among other features which will update the next generation console, the cloud may be one of its most important asset. Its computing possibilities aren’t limited to just features such as Forza 5’s Drivatar, but they’ll also improve the AI and other processes.
It seems like, the more we head towards a digital-only world, the more it looks like – in the future – we might not even need to change our hardware at all, since it could simply improve via services like the cloud.
