Infinity Heist #2

In the second issue you already see how much this story ties into Infinity. Every other book that does have some effect due to the emergence of Inhumans worldwide, and that is the answer we have gotten for what we thought was maybe Blizzard dying at first. It seems that just about anyone can be Inhuman if the DNA matches and surprisingly he just happened to be that match. Convenient? Sure, but none the less it can happen to just about anyone which is what makes this clever.

What’s great about this story so far is that it gets you thinking. As a heist story you find it fun, as most usually are, yet at the same time you wonder what the cost of this will be. They are taking advantage of a world that has been turned upside down due to fear. You just have to expect something bad to come out of this and at the center of it all, Blizzard seems to be the shift in focus of this. This story plays on a lot of their motivations as villains and that need to prove themselves as such. Like they say, not all of them are the most known, and surely don’t have the reputation, yet this one heist can change that, Tieri makes sure to emphasize this.

Even as a light as things have been till this point, you see the danger of what they’ve gotten themselves into. Blizzard, Whirlwind, and Firebrand are going to have to step up to the plate if they want to prove themselves because the end shows just why they are trying to be more than what those like Spymaster dismiss them as. They may be villains, but Tieri has given a reason for you to care about them and anything can happen from here.
