It’s about time (get it?), but Plants vs. Zombies 2 (PvZ 2) is finally available to download outside of Australia.
Centered around a time-travelling theme, PvZ 2 has players venturing to a variety of historical eras combating zombies with, well, plants, taking the battle to venues beyond your lawn.
As a free-to-play title, PvZ 2 will release regular updates with new plants, worlds, zombies and challenges – three of which are currently available in the game. You will also have the ability access to every zombie and every level without spending a dime on the game. There will, however, be purchasable upgrades as well as other in-game items.
PvZ 2 holds old and new features to the series, including:
- Three worlds available at lauch with more coming via updates
- 60 levels at launch
- Dozens of new plants and zombies
- Plant food, which gives a temporary boost to your plants
- Touch-screen power-ups allowing players to battle the zombies themselves
- Side missions, mini-games and other challenges for every world
- Challenge Zones at the end of each world
PvZ 2 is exclusively available for iOS devices at the present time, but it will become available for certain platforms by the end of this year as well as later times. Although it is currently available in seven different languages, more will be supported soon.
